The Turf Flat Season traditionally starts at the end of March with the meeting at Doncaster incorporating both the Spring Mile and the Lincoln Handicaps.
The first two of the Classics –the 1,000 and 2,000 Guineas-take place at Newmarket at the beginning of May, and Epsom stages the Oaks and the Derby in the first week of June. The final Classic, the St Leger, is run at Doncaster in September.
The prestigious Royal Ascot meeting is in the middle of June, and there are numerous great races throughout the summer on the Flat. But the Flat season doesn’t end there.
In 1989 All-Weather racing was introduced to Britain at Lingfield, and now there are five such tracks providing racing throughout the year.
Chelmsford and Kempton, like Lingfield, race on a Polytrack surface, Southwell go on the Fibresand, and Wolverhampton have recently installed a Tapeta track.
All-Weather racing has grown in popularity over the last few years, and has its own Champions Day each Good Friday at Lingfield.
This service concentrates on finding winners on the Flat, both Turf and All-Weather, and we believe we are pretty good at it.
Obviously it operates all-year round, and our selections will be either straight win or each-way-singles only.
